During rapid development across multiple products and projects at QBS Co., teams faced a major architectural challenge: repeatedly reinventing core infrastructure blocks—such as Authentication, RBAC, Notifications, and Messaging—for each new application. Conceived and extracted during the development of the AJEEK platform, this initiative designed and standardized modular, reusable microservice templates so engineering squads never have to rebuild cross-cutting foundations again.
The cornerstone of this architecture is a mature Auth / RBAC / IAM module that connects dynamically to all participating microservices at runtime to discover their API endpoints for real-time RBAC policy enforcement. Upon authentication, it generates an authoritative security ticket/token that controls and validates access across all downstream microservices and remaining APIs. Standardized notification and messaging modules were similarly extracted into turnkey templates, enabling rapid kickoff across 10+ production projects at QBS Co. with zero redundant boilerplate.
Across multiple new products and projects at QBS Co. (starting during the development of AJEEK), squads repeatedly spent months building isolated auth, notification, and messaging services from scratch, leading to code duplication, inconsistent RBAC, and heavy maintenance overhead.
Architected modular microservices templates in .NET Core and Go. Engineered a centralized Auth & IAM module that connects with all microservices to discover their endpoints at runtime for granular RBAC operations, generating a single authoritative security ticket that governs all remaining APIs. Packaged companion plug-and-play notification and messaging templates.
Eliminated repetitive platform development across QBS Co. The Auth/RBAC template achieved full maturity and is now deployed in 10+ production projects, cutting new service kickoff times, enforcing unified single-ticket API security, and establishing reusable architectural standards.
